This project was to develop a full semester syllabus for a class on a topic that would not be covered in our Introduction to AAAD course. I chose to research AfroPunk, and alternative culture movement taking the world by storm. To present this topic, I designed a syllabus website.
Doing academic research into a little-studied topic such as AfroPunk was an invaluable way to develop my analysis skills. I learned how to ask the right questions and look critically at different sources. Visit the site here.
