Ole School Alumni Group is an organization that raises money to award scholarships to black students at James Madison University. They offer mentorship services, internships, and job placement to students as well.
Their goal was to get their name out to students, who were not aware of the services they provide. Since the alumni mostly graduated in the 80s, they want to revitalize the group with new younger members.
I had an opportunity to work with clients of an older generation, who had difficulty reaching younger students. This was a great chance to learn how to pitch ideas to people who don’t fully understand the tech behind them.
