Projects
This chance to work right beside the top social media and communications experts at James Madison University's official comms department has given me a fantastic starting point in my career.
I had an opportunity to work with clients of an older generation, who had difficulty reaching younger students. This was a great chance to learn how to pitch ideas to people who don’t fully understand the tech behind them.
This was the first chance I’ve had to build a brand from the ground up, and I got to fully dive into the branding process as the media manager for a great organization.
This was a fantastic way to develop group project skills, as my partners and I worked to create a hypothetical campaign for Lumē. We had a chance to develop a long-form copy ad, a rare but valuable experience to have these days.
Doing academic research into a little-studied topic such as AfroPunk was an invaluable way to develop my analysis skills. I learned how to ask the right questions and look critically at different sources. Visit the site here.
I very much enjoyed doing primary research into a social issue that deeply effects people. It’s incredibly rewarding to work on an important cause like this that is close to my heart. Read my full report here.
Here you will find an amalgamation of some other design work and writing I've done throughout my career, for personal projects, class assignments, and more.
